How Does It Work?

Each month one new, age-appropriate high-quality book will be mailed in your child’s name directly to your home. They can look forward to new and exciting reading adventures from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library until they turn five years old!

The Imagination Dinner is an exciting, one-of-a-kind event benefiting Wilson Books from Birth, our local branch of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The event features a fan-favorite — the Wacky Waiter, who brings energy, antics, and plenty of laughs while serving your table throughout the evening. Paired with a delicious catered meal, engaging live and silent auctions and fun challenges. The Imagination Library is a night of creativity, generosity and community spirit.

What Makes the Imagination Dinner Special?

As a Table Sponsor, you’ll bring your creativity to life by choosing a theme for your table — think whimsical, enchanting, and inspired by your favorite children’s book! You’ll decorate your table and invite your guests to dress up to match the theme. A table seats 8, plus your very own Wacky Waiter!

Selecting Your Table’s Wacky Waiter

Each table selects a “Wacky Waiter” to serve as their playful, entertaining host for the evening. From fetching silverware to delivering drink refills, they’ll earn tips for every task — all in the spirit of fundraising and fun!
