The Imagination Dinner

The Imagination Dinner is an exciting, one-of-a-kind event benefiting Wilson Books from Birth, our local branch of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The event features a fan-favorite — the Wacky Waiter, who brings energy, antics, and plenty of laughs while serving your table throughout the evening. Paired with a delicious catered meal, engaging live and silent auctions and fun challenges. The Imagination Dinner is a night of creativity, generosity and community spirit.

The proceeds from the Imagination Dinner directly support childhood literacy by providing the gift of free books to local children. Every dollar raised helps put books into the hands of young readers, fostering a love of learning and opening doors to endless possibilities.

Information & Guidelines

Tables are 60 inch round – table sponsor must provide the table cloth.
WBFB will provide the following: Napkins, silverware (fork, knife, spoon) and glassware

Exposition center decorating guidelines

No Helium balloons, glitter, confetti, candles, or open flames
Nothing can be hung from ceiling or affixed to the walls
Limited electrical outlets – available on first come, first served basis
Tables may be decorated day of event, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Servers

Please arrive at the Farm Bureau Exposition Center by 5:30 pm on event night to review the schedule/layout for the evening and attend a volunteer meeting before the event starts at 6:30 pm. Please call 615-444-5503 or email info@wilsonbooksfrombirth.com if you have questions.
